FAQ about BeST
Where does the tournament take place?+
The centre of the festival is Belgrade, capital of Serbia. Our sport venues are all located very close to each other, with a shuttle service to most of them.
What age group can participate?+
University and college students, 18+.
How many teams can one university bring?+
It is entirely your decision how many teams you bring, and there is no limit on the number of universities from one country.
How do I sign up?+
Applications are submitted by email. A deposit of 30% of the total fee must be transferred within 7 days of sending the application to secure your team's place. The rest can be paid on arrival at the hotel.
Where is the accommodation located?+
All accommodation is near the city centre with easy public transport access, only a few minutes' walk from the main sport venue.
Do we get a guide?+
Every team has its own assistant who guides them to and from the sport venues.
Do we need a visa?+
Citizens of the European Union and Russia do not need a visa. Others should check with the local Serbian Embassy or Consulate. We gladly send all necessary documents, including an Official Invitation Letter.
Are the athletes insured?+
No. It is the responsibility of the coaches to ensure athletes are adequately insured in their home countries.
